Mission
At Kingdom City Coffeehouse, our mission goes beyond serving great coffee. We exist to uplift our community through purpose-driven outreach, mentorship, and meaningful opportunities.

Youth Training Program
Our involvement in foster care led us to ponder how we could further support youth development. Hence, the inception of the Youth Development Program. Witnessing the struggles faced by young individuals transitioning into adulthood, particularly in securing and maintaining employment, fueled our desire to intervene positively.
Our vision for the Youth Development Program stems from recognizing the need for youth career development. Through our experiences, such as my foster daughter’s brief yet impactful employment stint, where she demonstrated remarkable potential but faced challenges in job retention, we became acutely aware of the gaps in traditional employment training.
Understanding that adolescence is a critical period for acquiring essential life skills, we aim to equip young people, aged 14-25, with the soft skills necessary for future success. While personal growth remains an ongoing journey, our focus lies in providing practical support, particularly in honing interpersonal skills.
By offering guidance in customer interaction, cultivating professionalism, and fostering meaningful relationships with customers and colleagues alike, we endeavor to empower youth to navigate the complexities of the working world with confidence.
Through the Youth Development Program, we aspire to bridge the gap between academic education and real-world application, nurturing a generation of young adults equipped not only with technical know-how but also with the interpersonal competencies vital for thriving in any professional setting.
